The Sergeant and the Professor

Corrections to College California (CTCC) is an initiative working to bring face to face college education to every prison and jail in the golden state. To do that, they're working to inspire and motivate partners in California's colleges and in the state's department of corrections. This video is all about what happens when people from those two worlds come together for the first time, and how the transformative power of education can bring them together for the betterment of their students and our society as a whole.

We worked with CTCC to identify this story, filmed it on location at Fresno Community College and inside California State Prison – Corcoran, and handled every detail of editing and post-production.
